The last year has been difficult for all and especially hardhitting to charities and community groups who rely on face to face fundraising. We decided to reach out to some local charities, schools and community groups to offer them a small gift of seeds to brighten up their outdoor space or to teach the children about growing food.
We wanted to do this as through the lockdowns we have faced the past year we have all found our gardens and open spaces to be a great form of comfort, so we wanted to be able to share the seeds with local groups to allow them to brighten up their outdoor areas and enjoy the journey from seed to flower without the cost of seeds taking away from their funding . We hope by facilitating all these flowers to be planted the bees and insects will thrive also.
